ATHLETIC DEVELOPMENT

 

 

 

Athletic Development can be divided into two categories: (1) Endurance Sports and (2) Power Sports.

Each group has many of the same needs. Every athlete needs to be stronger. Every athlete needs better conditioning. Every athlete needs to have some form of power development.

The application of each of these primary training blocks is different from sport to sport.
